Google Japan just made an adorable video to show how the street view function works. Worth the watch!

Brad and I moved into a new apartment and a new city. We’re now residents of Chicago, Illinois! If you haven’t noticed, we took a 3.5 month break from blogging. This break was for 60% good reasons and about 40% lazy reasons. We got busy, really busy. Alas, the busyness has dwindled down and we’re back to blogging full time for your viewing pleasure. I feel like we’re finally settled down here and ready to keep Printish up and running.
Chicago has been good to us thus far. We had a chance to see the Ghostly International 10 year anniversary show (feat. Tycho!!!), we’ve seen some good films such as Inglorious Basterds and Cold Souls and last night we saw Tim Meadows do some improv with select Second City cast members. But we need some help on what else is going on in Chicago. If you know anyone who’s doing something great around here let us know!

Yesterday was great. I bought myself many gifts. The day started an estate sale trip where I bought this. I then proceeded to a local record store where I bought the m83 Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts album and Dan Deacon’s Bromst album. Both I already owned in MP3. But hey, vinyl is better right? I unopened my new records, put them on and made a delicious snack of mango chutney and mini poppadoms! Later on last night I bought these amazing shoes that make me probably 3 inches taller. I’ll be wearing them tonight when Brad and I go see a screening of The Brothers Bloom. I’ll be a whole 5′ 4″!
Today I was reeeaallllyy wishing I had a holga camera. I decided to take a self portrait and see if I couldn’t try and make the “holga effect” in photoshop. Did I do it right? I don’t know. Would this have fooled you?
This weekend I’m driving to Minneapolis to visit friends and family and have a photo shoot for 1918 with this lovely couple. I’m so excited to work with them again because they give my creative mind a break and there’s nothing better sometimes. I won’t be able to blog again until Monday or Tuesday but I’ll hopefully persuade Brad to blog a little over the next couple of days. Photos above by Ashley Moe.
